Take a Hike!!

With the unusually warm weather these past few weeks, I've had the opportunity to dig out my GPSr, stamp, and logbooks and get back out into the woods in search of hidden tupperware. I think I chose some of the harder boxes and caches to look for, especially considering I hadn't cached or boxed in nearly two years, but it was still nice to get back into the woods. I did realize, however, that I really need a caching/boxing buddy.

While the hubby likes hiking, I don't think he's really into the search or find. He prefers letterboxes over geocaches but I think that's due more to it being a more exact set of clues rather than a Lat/Long that may be off by 20+ feet. The quicker the box is found, the quicker we can get back on the trail after all.

Hopefully, he'll get a job offer soon and once we determine if we're staying in the area or not, I'm going to really search for a caching/boxing companion who will enjoy the hunt just as much as the hike. Sometimes hubby can be a bummer on my enthusiasm!

In other news, I've decided to place Help Me Say Goodbye up on Lit. It's not doing as well as I'd hoped but I suppose it's the wrong venue for it. I'll place the entire thing on there but I doubt I'll go into that category again. I do have ideas for additional stories based around characters included in The Other Half as well as a blossoming idea for a new Regency era romance.  We'll just have to see how many of the ideas actually come to light.
